Kurzfilm.io
One continuous line inside a play button — a mark for a German short-film platform.

The brief
Say “film” without another clapperboard
Kurzfilm.io is a German short-film platform — Kurzfilm means short film. The mark had to read at favicon size, hold up on both black and white, and signal film without reaching for the clapperboard, the reel or the strip of sprocket holes everyone else uses.
The mark
A K threaded through the gate
A rounded play triangle holds a K drawn as one continuous, unbroken stroke — a single length of film threaded through a projector gate. Because the stroke never closes, the mark keeps a sense of movement even standing still.
The construction grid is derived from the triangle’s own geometry, so stroke weight and counters stay in ratio whether the logo is 3 mm on a business card or three metres on a wall.

Delivered as an 8-page guideline covering the primary horizontal lockup, the stacked variant, positive and negative treatments, the construction grid, clear space and minimum sizes — with Plus Jakarta Sans as the supporting typeface.
